Promoting their safety and well-being protecting them from harm Cooking, cleaning, and supporting the young person in developing their life skills Supporting the child's engagement with Education, training and employment. Facilitating engagement with broader support services and health appointments Transporting young people as and when necessary Adhering to Philomena Protocol if children go missing from home Maintaining a daily log / incident report and completing a full handover with colleagues Adhering to all organisational policies relating to safeguarding, Health and Safety and general data protection regulation Promoting good relationships with neighbours and the wider community Personal Specification - in order to be considered for this role you must fit the following criteria: A minimum of 6 months experience working with Children and Young People in the health and social care sector Have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or Children and Young Person's Health and Social Care OR be willing to work towards this qualification Experience working with challenging behaviour and/or complex needs Be reliable and professional Preferably hold a current, transferable DBS (registered on the update service) Preferably hold a clear driving licence, with access to a vehicle Working hours: Monday to Sunday 12 hour day and nights 6 hour respite To apply for this role - click below now INDGA
