Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist within Collingham Child and Family Centre. This is a friendly, ever-growing team consisting of several exciting disciplines and expertise. You will provide senior nurse leadership within the nursing team. As post holder and in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, you will take a senior role in the processing of all new referrals to the service and facilitating gatekeeping and discharge. You will assess, plan, and provide supportive clinical management, using evidence-based models of care and support of families. You will also liaise with referrers and provide advice to primary and secondary services and other external agencies as required. Main duties of the job The post holder will play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality care for young people with complex mental health needs.This role involves leading referral management, supervising junior nurses, role-modeling clinical excellence, and coordinating Care, Education, and Treatment Reviews (CETRs). You will provide senior nursing support and supervision to the liaison team in collaboration with the manager and peers. You will also contribute to the wider nursing initiative of the service.
