Salary up to £28,600 - £31,200 DOE plus door-to-door overtime

Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. We have been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and are proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.
Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, there are also Willow Pumps and Filta, two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions.
What does it entail?
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers' drains.
* Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
* Carrying out surveys.
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps.
* Communicating effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
* Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7/365 days a year, which would be one week in four - variable according to business needs.
What are we looking for?
* High-pressure water jetting and CCTV Surveying experience in commercial drainage beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
* A positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
* A desire to be part of a growing and progressive business.
* Willingness to work some unsociable hours.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Must live in the Cambridge, Ely, Kings Lynn, or Bury St Edmunds areas.
*Please note that while experience is preferred, we will also consider a trainee with previous experience within a technical hands-on role within construction, engineering, FM, etc.
