We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Key Stage 1 (KS1) team at a primary school near Wigan. This full-time position begins in January 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year in July.
- Prepare engaging learning resources and activities.
- Provide tailored support to children on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to monitor and discuss pupil progress.

- Hours: 8:15 am - 3:00 pm
- Type of Work: Temporary (January - July 2025)
- Pay: Minimum £85 per day (dependent on experience)
- Commitment: Full-time
- A valid Safeguarding certificate obtained within the last year (training can be provided if needed).
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (highly desirable).
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references.
