About Finance at THG
Finance at THG is a dynamic and evolving team, covering everything from accounts receivable and payable to treasury, tax, internal audit, and dedicated commercial teams for each division: Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands.
About the Role
This role is within the Retail Beauty Division’s Finance function, reporting into the Assistant Financial Controller. This role focuses on internal reporting and management accounting, assisting the business in making informed decisions and recovering Beauty marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
* Uploading funding forms and calculating amounts owed by brands for supplier funding
* Working with buying teams and supporting on brand queries and requests
* Produce accurate and insightful weekly reports on funding and concession
* Assist in the billing process, invoicing brands for marketing income on a timely basis
* Support wider finance team in daily reporting
* Involvement in month end, posting journals and reviewing costs, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
* Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify recurring issues and potential room for improvement within current processes.
* Strive to achieve best practice performance levels against agreed set of KPIs.
Requirements:
* Working towards an accountancy qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or QBE
* Experience in management accounting, preferably in the retail sector
* Strong communication & teamworking skills
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
