Are you looking for your next challenge? Join Taylor & Francis Group within our Books Production Editorial department. As a Content Coordinator you will oversee the production of titles from receipt of the content into the department to upload for press.
We are recruiting for a Content Coordinator, on a maternity cover basis, to process content from across Routledge and Taylor & Francis imprints.
As a Content Coordinator you will oversee the production of titles from receipt of the content through to upload for press.
Location
This role is open to candidates based in the UK. The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, to ensure that as a balanced worker they can collaborate as required. Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office (or pro rata for part time).
Closing date: 11th October 2024.
The key responsibilities are:
1. Checking content for acceptance into the Production department and entering key information into our database for each title
2. Commissioning external suppliers, preparing material for them and providing feedback
3. Maintaining up-to-date schedules and information on our database, and compiling information for reporting, as required
4. Communicating with colleagues in other departments as necessary
5. Completing multiple tasks to deadlines
6. Checking quality of final files, including covers and eBooks, and uploading files for publication
7. Controlling schedules and budgets
8. Assessing and coding invoices for prompt supplier payment.
Full training will be provided.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
9. Be used to prioritising and working to deadlines, be organised and able to multi-task
10. Show an aptitude for high volume processing
11. Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify spelling errors
12. Understand the importance of maintaining information relied on by others, ideally through experience of using a database
13. Be a good communicator, both written and verbal, be able to represent the company professionally and contribute to a friendly team
14. Be able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team
15. Show aptitude and enthusiasm for working with new technology and adapt well to change
16. Have basic skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat reader.

Interview process:
