Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management to effectively communicate our message and values across various channels.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
2. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
3. Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers on social media channels in a timely manner.
4. Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in messaging and visual identity.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, public relations, and digital marketing.
7. Manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
8. Prepare regular reports on social media performance for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in social media management or public relations, preferably in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
5. Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics software to track performance metrics.
6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
7. A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is preferred but not essential.
