Position Overview: As an EHB Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing electrical systems, heating systems, and building services within commercial and residential properties. This role requires a technically proficient, hands-on engineer with a strong understanding of EHB systems and the ability to ensure that all work meets industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, heating, and building systems within a variety of commercial and residential properties. Diagnose and resolve faults with heating, electrical, and other mechanical systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions for building services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities. Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards. Assist with the commissioning of new installations and modifications to existing systems. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner. Provide technical support and advice to clients when required. Ensure all work is completed within project deadlines and budgets. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as an EHB Engineer or in a similar technical role (electrical, heating, building services). Strong knowledge of electrical and heating systems, including fault diagnosis and repairs. Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical, Heating, or Building Services Engineering). Good understanding of health and safety regulations and working practices. Full UK driving license and ability to travel within the Sheffield region.
