Working hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Wednesday, 6.30am – 4.30pm; Thursday, 6.30am – 4pm.
Salary: From £26,719 per annum.
Join Cox Marine as a Warehouse Operative and embark on an exciting journey in marine technology. We are looking for individuals who are passionate and committed to delivering excellence in their work. This role is based at our headquarters in Shoreham-By-Sea.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment.
* Independently complete warehouse operations, including accurate stock movements, goods inwards, picking, packing, despatch, use of lifting equipment, and cycle counting.
* Raising relevant documentation on the system, including invoices, delivery notes, cycle count reports, sales orders.
* Participate in cross-training across all disciplines to support a flexible and collaborative warehouse team.
* Understanding and accurately following standard operating procedures.
* Maintaining a neat and orderly appearance in the workplace.
* Supporting continuous improvement and problem resolution activities if required.
Skills and Experience
* Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks.
* Computer literate and ability to learn different software and databases.
* Strong foundational skills in math, literacy, and clear communication.
* Strong attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly.
* Trained/qualified in the use of forklifts and other warehouse lift equipment.

We prioritise candidates with the above skills and experience, however we strongly value individuals eager to learn. Previous experience in a warehouse setting – particularly within the automotive or marine industries is a plus but not essential. Full training will be provided, as well as development in other areas where possible.
