Project Quantity Surveyor (Residential Developer) - Central London - £65-75,000 + package
We are working with an established Regional Developer who is gaining a foothold in the London Market with long-term growth and expansion plans. You will be supported by the Northern Commercial team initially focusing on the £30M Cut and Carve in North London. As the business establishes itself in London, projects will scale up to include £100M RC Frame New Build, Cut & Carve, and some Traditional builds in the Home counties.
Your role will include:
1. Carrying out accurate build cost assessments; maintaining budget control throughout development; and managing cost overruns within tolerance levels.
2. Accurate costing and preparation of budgets for each aspect of site development.
3. Analysing and reporting on costs and cash flow vs budget.
4. Preparing tenders and procuring sub-contractors, goods, and materials.
5. Evaluating and agreeing variations and instructions.
6. Using a payments system for the payment of sub-contractors and the supply of goods and materials.
7. Management of Sub-Contract accounts through to completion including valuations, payments, variations, forecast final accounts, and contractual correspondence.
8. Producing monthly cost reports on time, in conjunction with the Team.
You will have:
1. A Degree (or equivalent).
2. 5 or more years PQE.
3. Previous relevant experience in residential construction, ideally with a Developer.
