We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team in Birmingham, on a fixed-term contract. As the Casework Administrator, you will contribute to the crucial work of our casework and investigations secretariat function.

Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the generic responsibilities of the role, you will undertake the following specific responsibilities, including:
- Support the IMG CMG Co-ordinator in ensuring that all secretariat functions are delivered including effective planning, resourcing, monitoring, reporting and risk management
- Attendance and administrative support at meetings including drafting agendas & minute taking
- Liaise with internal colleagues at all levels of the organisation
- Assist in the delivery of quality assurance, including monitoring the delivery of case files and actions arising from meetings
- Working to tight deadlines and targets whilst managing a demanding administrative workload
- Ability to arrange a high volume of meetings at short notice
- Updating various action/tracker logs and tasks which are spreadsheet based and monitoring of numerous outlook inboxes
- Proof reading and letter preparation to support the IMG CMG Co-ordinator
- Provide support to Directors in Operations when required
- Assist with the monitoring & admin of illegal markets & criminal work
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience of administrative work
- Experience of minute or note taking
- Ability to learn quickly and to think laterally and anticipate responses or actions in advance to ensure smooth workflow and follow up with the IMG and CMG Co-ordinator, Directors or colleagues
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to recognise and manage priorities
- Ability to monitor workflows and allocation of work based on existing caseload
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the Commission and able to strengthen existing relationships with external stakeholders
- Previous experience working to tight deadlines and targets and managing a demanding administrative workload
- Accurate typing ability
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the internet and Outlook to an intermediate level
- Audio typing experience
- Work and communicate with team and manager in a confident manner
Desirable:
- Project management experience in an operational environment
- Good working knowledge of regulatory environments/operations
- Proven analytical skills with ability to summarise and communicate complex information and identify key points
