Job Description A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Rights Sales Executive within the Global Rights Team for Advanced Learning (Books) at Taylor & Francis Group. Reporting to the Rights and Permissions Manager, the Senior Rights Executive will be responsible for maximising revenue by licensing content from our extensive catalogue of Routledge titles across the Social Sciences, Humanities, Built Environment, Education and Behavioural Sciences. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis of 6 months and you must have the right to live and work in the UK. Closing date: 7th February 2025. What you’ll be doing: Maintain and increase rights revenue in a specific list of territories by implementing a sales strategy, forecasting growth, setting & meeting sales targets. Building strong partnerships with international publishers, agents and internal departments across the business. Develop product knowledge enabling proactive marketing of titles. Analyse and report on sales and territory trends whilst maintaining an awareness of competitor activity in various regions. Represent the company externally at bookfairs and undertake territory sales trips. Follow best practice and update the rights management database. Provide support for internal and external presentations / workshops. Deputise and represent the rights team on behalf of the Rights & Permissions Manager and/or Head of Rights when appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the team. Identify opportunities for improving processes, training needs & best practice and work with the Rights & Permissions Manager to implement necessary changes for the benefit of the wider team. Assist with the provision of reports for finance and senior management.
