HG are recruiting for a Senior Transport Clerk for our Client based in Hatfield, offering an exciting opportunity to support the Transport Manager with a range of daily tasks. This role involves the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities: Planning and coordinating tasks for Transport Clerks
Data gathering and reporting on a weekly and periodical basis, in line with operational processes
Support the delivery of Cost Control, Safety, Productivity, Service Excellence, and Culture within the team
Ensure that vehicles depart at the correct temperature for each journey
Oversee Pre Brief and Debrief compliance
Conduct Pre-Journey driver checks with the Transport Clerks
Ensure all Admin Legal compliance is met
Cover Day and Night shifts as per the rota
Provide additional support during Section Managers' holidays
Candidate Requirements: A keen passion for transport and eagerness to learn
Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment
Strong understanding of Driver's Hours, Transport Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
Excellent geographical knowledge
A customer-focused attitude with a high level of attention to detail
Pay & Shifts: PAYE : £14.51 - £29.02 per hour
Available shifts: 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600
Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends
