Salary 57,670 - 57,670 GBP per year Requirements: - We are looking for candidates who possess experience at the SFIA 8 Framework: Level 5 - ‘Ensure & Advise’ and/or Level 6 - ‘Initiate & Influence’. Ideally, you should hold qualifications such as: - Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP) - Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) - Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) - Membership of CIISP, CIISec, BCS, or a recognized equivalent Additionally, you should have the ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrate effective networking, and have experience in leading and managing teams. Strong communication skills are essential, allowing you to convey key messages to a variety of audiences. This role also requires candidates to undergo DV clearance and is only open to sole UK nationals. Responsibilities: - In this position, your main responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the incident response strategy and transformation plan for UK Strategic Command across all business units. - Acting as a subject matter expert and advisor for cyber security matters. - Supporting cyber security agenda items in meetings and liaising with Defence Intelligence on threat positioning. - Managing incident response exercises and threat-hunting activities. - Ensuring effective communication of investigation results and risk mitigation outcomes. - Conducting post-incident reviews and providing tailored advice on mitigation. - Liaising with Defence Cyber Defence teams on strategic taskings and leading cyber security exercises. - Sharing expertise with stakeholders and managing a team, ensuring workload delivery. - Driving continuous improvement and maintaining close engagement with key stakeholders in Defence Digital, Defence Security & Resilience, and wider MOD.
