An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as Workforce Information Analyst based at Liverpool Innovation Park, Edge Lane, Liverpool The post holder will required to produce a wide range of complex workforce information to support managers in planning their workforce for the future in order to make best use of their funded staffing establishment, they will also be required to provide training and support to ESR users within the Human Resources Department and across the Trust, with the creation of bespoke dashboards in BI, maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data and ensuring data is credible and robust. Applicants should be able to demonstrate willingness and a capability to learn, possess excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to motivate and inspire others. You will possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills, having the judgement to escalate complex problems when necessary and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. You must be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload in an organised and methodical style. Having the ability to work to deadlines is a vital aspect of this post. This role would suit someone who has experience collecting, analysing and interpreting large quantities of complex data, keen to expand on their current experience and has an interest in the innovation of Workforce Systems As a member of the Human resources Team, the Workforce Information Analyst, will act as a specialist resource in all aspects of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system; including HR Administration, Manager Self Service (MSS), Employee Self Service (ESS), Business Intelligence (BI) and Oracle Learning Management (OLM) The post holder will provide training and support to ESR users within the Human Resources Department and across the Trust. The Workforce Information Analyst will be required to produce a wide range of complex workforce information to support managers in planning their workforce for the future in order to make best use of their funded staffing establishment. They will also have line management responsibility for the Workforce Information Assistant and be responsible for their development and support. The Workforce Information Analyst will when necessary, develop and provide accurate reporting systems for the Trust to assist the Trust in increasing compliance to Key Performance Indicators. They will work as part of a team to provide a high standard of service delivery. There will be opportunities to learn and build reports and dashboards within Power BI and develop coding skills.
