They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their office based in Southport.

Description
You will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring customer debts are paid in a timely manner
2. Managing the collection process while maintaining good customer relations
3. Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity
4. Regularly contacting customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
5. Issuing monthly customer statements
6. Conducting credit checks on all customers, establishing and managing limits
7. Handling disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms
8. Providing accurate advice on billing queries
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
1. A strong background in Accounting & Finance
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
3. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software
4. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
5. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
