Senior Support Worker - Learning Disabilities
Days £13 per hour
Bungay, Norfolk
Would you like to work in a fantastic facility that provides support to individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting
In the Senior Support Worker role you will:
• Work as part of the care team
• Ensure high standards are being maintained
• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals and coach Support Workers
• Contribute to care planning
• Maintain the personal care needs of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence
For this role you must have:
• NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or be working towards this)
• Previous experience in a senior care role
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• An empathetic and caring nature
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred, but not essential.
