JobOverview:
TheProcurement Analyst will support the procurement department byanalyzing purchasing data assessing vendor performance andimplementing procurement strategies that maximize cost efficiencyand improve supply chain operations. The successful candidate willuse datadriven approaches to guide procurement decisions ensuringthat the organization receives highquality goods and services atcompetitive prices.
KeyResponsibilities:
**Data Analysis andReporting:**
Collect analyze and interpret procurement data toidentify trends variances and opportunities for costsavings.
Develop and maintain procurement reports dashboards and KPIs tosupport decisionmaking processes.
**VendorManagement:**
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance based onquality cost delivery andresponsiveness.
Assist in the development and maintenance of strongvendor relationships to ensure reliable supply and effectivenegotiation outcomes.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and support theimplementation of risk mitigationstrategies.
**StrategicSourcing:**
Support the strategic sourcing process by identifying potentialsuppliers conducting market research and assisting in supplierselection.
Analyze market trends and benchmarks to inform procurementstrategies and negotiations.
**ProcurementProcesses:**
Participate in the development and implementation ofprocurement policies andprocedures.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and externalregulatory requirements.
Assist in the continuous improvement of procurementprocesses and systems to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
**CostManagement:**
Identify costsaving opportunities through spendanalysis supplier negotiations and processimprovements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understandtheir procurement needs and provide recommendations forcosteffective solutions.
**ContractManagement:**
Assist in the preparation review and management ofprocurement contracts andagreements.
Ensure that contracts are aligned with organizational objectivesand compliance requirements.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management BusinessAdministration Finance or a relatedfield.
Experience:
Minimum of 24 years of experience in procurementsupply chain management or a related analyticalrole.
Experience with procurement software and tools (e.g. SAP OracleAriba) is preferred.
Skills andCompetencies:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with akeen attention to detail.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. ExcelTableau Power BI).
Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
Strong negotiation and interpersonalskills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
Understanding of procurement best practices andsupply chainprinciples.
