Here at Stonewater, we are looking for a pro-active professional to join us as Estate Services Manager. You’ll oversee the strategic delivery of services ensuring that all grounds maintenance, cleaning, and estate management activities are carried out, whilst leading and managing the Estate Services Co-ordinators. You’ll manage and lead the Estate Services team and support them to provide supervision, ensuring excellent performance management against clear and measurable targets and tackling poor performance. You’ll be the strategic lead for service delivery in monitoring and managing KPI contract performance through contract performance meetings. Responsible for ensuring contract variations are captured and kept valid and for the ongoing improvements and upkeep of the portal and customer communications, you’ll ensure data accuracy and apply GIS and other digital systems in the planning and delivery of estate management services. You’ll manage performance, compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Building Safety legislation, to ensure customer satisfaction with Stonewater Estate services and in accordance with agreed budgets and you’ll be responsible for ensuring that estate services are fully costed, in terms of estimates and actuals, to ensure that service charges can be accurately accounted for and recovered. Leading on driving contractor performance forward to ensure excellent service delivery, you’ll liaise with contractors, customers and colleagues to improve estates maintenance performance resolving any issues and manage Stonewater’s programme of inspections and estate surveys to ensure they are completed to agreed standards and that issues raised are effectively resolved. The ideal candidate will: Have previous relevant experience in the provision of estate services, preferably gained within the social housing sector. Be able to lead and manage a customer focused team. Be able to deliver services and procure and manage contracts. Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Be able to interpret management information and present to senior management. Be able to manage a diverse team to support all aspects on contract management. Understand relevant legislation and Health & Safety requirements. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Take a positive approach to dealing with challenges and complaints. Have experience of working with resident associations and representative groups. Have excellent budget management and IT skills.
