We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Quality Manager. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. The ability to achieve UK security clearance without restrictions is to be required for this role. This role is critical within the Poynton Management team and is responsible for compliance to all necessary accreditations. Our Poynton site is establishing future growth working with existing customers as well as having major orders booked. As the Quality Manager you will be operating in a customer-facing, performance-based manufacturing environment. You will ensure that the business unit’s Quality Management System, and associated policies, procedures, and processes manage the risk profile of the business. Some of the main responsibilities include: Ensure compliance and retention of the business’ current management system accreditations: AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & 45001 Responsible for the supervision and continuous development of the Quality Control and administration team, and the associated departmental budget Take direct managerial responsibility for the site’s quality compliance and product quality (including First Article Inspection to AS9102 standard) Ensure that the Business Management System remains compliant with the requirements of our applicable standards Manage and develop direct reports through training and mentoring Supporting business improvement projects and future business development For this role you will need: Professional qualification in quality management Relevant experience in quality management, operations, and manufacturing. Internal auditing experience to AS9100 standard Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in electronics manufacturing, with a strong focus on meeting the specific demands of the aerospace industry This is a full time, permanent role at our site in Poynton, Cheshire.
