Randstad are currently looking for a Site Agent, to work across London and the Home Counties. Initially to be based on a site in London, so you must be able to work in this area.

The Project:
This client has a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging from access road improvements, public realm works, highways schemes, maintenance works and specialist framework projects. The specific projects that you would be working on initially would be highways. Therefore, experience in this area would be advantageous.
The Role:
This role will be site based, with the occasional need to spend time in the Head Office. You will be responsible for:
1. Reporting to a Project Manager or a visiting Contracts Manager
2. Supervising all subcontract and direct labour and 6 - 8 technical staff
3. Planning, scheduling, procuring and delivering the project effectively, often to a tight schedule
4. Managing all health and safety
5. Liaising with the client team and consultants
Requirements:
1. Degree / HND in Civil Engineering
2. Ideally you will have progressed from Site Engineer to Site Agent
3. Good IT skills required including MS Office packages
4. Experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor with experience in highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works
5. CSCS Card (Black / Platinum)
6. SMSTS
7. First Aid
Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + car or car allowance, pension, holiday, healthcare.
