Extreme Wheels Roadshows has been established for over 24 years with a high reputation in delivering extreme and action sports from grassroots right through to running our own Professional BMX Demo teams at national events.
If you believe you have the necessary enthusiasm, qualities, and experience in this industry, either in paid work or on a voluntary basis and are looking for a new challenge, then we want to hear from you!
The post will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Extreme Wheels Roadshows, which includes the delivery, programming, and staffing of outreach sessions, business development, Health & Safety, along with advertising and marketing of the service.
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and outstanding individual ideally from the BMX community, who possesses a creative, positive, and outgoing personality to manage, co-ordinate, develop and deliver our Extreme Wheels Roadshows mobile activities, programmes, and events, both locally and nationally. The role will engage, enthuse, and empower the general public to participate in Extreme / urban sports at all levels, especially to young people who on occasions can be challenging.
If you have a good understanding of the extreme/urban sports industry and possess a qualification in sports coaching and/or leadership, preferably in a wheeled/extreme sport (ideally in BMX), we want to hear from you!
There is an expectation the post holder will work flexible hours to meet service demands, currently 4 to 5 early evenings per week along with daytime sessions. In return, a combination of flexi hours or additional pay will be offered.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at Enhanced level.
