As part of our ambitious on-going development plan, we are now seeking a pro-active Business Development Manager to join our Sales team. This is a new role for the business and as such requires a candidate with creativity and excellent collaboration and communication skills. The role will represent four key revenue areas of the business: Corporate Hospitality, Conference and Events, The Lodge (Hotel) and Sponsorship. The successful candidate will seek to build long-term client relationships which enable customers to access all our business service opportunities via a single point of relationship management.The successful candidate in this role will;Proactively represent the entire Newbury Racecourse business to existing and potential clientsWork with the Head of Sales to develop sales opportunities, sales initiatives & targeted campaigns to deliver sales growthCreate, manage and develop relationships with key individuals, corporates and booking agents to maximise the delivery of profitable businessWork alongside the Head of Sales to manage key accounts to achieve year on year retention & growthProactively cross sell across The Lodge, Conference & Events, Corporate Hospitality, Sponsorship, Ticketing and Membership.
