The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our footprint across the North of the UK. This is a hunter role, focused on prospecting, securing, and developing new partnerships with mid-tier and large fleets (100+ vehicles). You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new business and positioning DTM as the go-to tyre management partner.
Key Responsibilities
* New Business Acquisition: Identify, approach, and win new fleet customers (100+ vehicles) to partner with DTM for their tyre management needs.
* Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct targeted research, cold outreach, and networking to build a strong sales pipeline.
* Consultative Selling: Develop tailored solutions that align with customers' operational goals, ESG objectives, and cost-saving strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including fleet managers, procurement teams, and senior executives.
* Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term partnerships.
* Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts.
* Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements in tyre management.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven B2B Sales Experience: Strong track record in business development, ideally within fleet management, automotive, or tyre-related industries.
* Hunter Mentality: Self-motivated, proactive, and relentless in seeking new business opportunities.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of tyre management, fleet operations, and ESG-driven procurement is advantageous.
* Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage, influence, and close deals with senior stakeholders.
* Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Capable of identifying and capitalising on business growth opportunities.
* Full UK Driving Licence: Regular travel across the North of the UK is required.
