Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Levenshulme, Manchester to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Maths Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in September and is to cover a long-term requirement within the Maths department.

This role is ideal for a passionate Maths Teacher who is eager to make a lasting impact on students' learning and progress. ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential Key Stage 5 depending on experience).
* Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
* Assess, monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching where necessary to ensure all learners are supported.
* Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to excel.
* Prepare students for GCSE assessments, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
* Contribute to the wider Maths department by collaborating on curriculum development and sharing best practices.
* Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions and school events as required.
* Uphold high standards of classroom behaviour and demonstrate consistent classroom management.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics education.
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and raising achievement for all learners.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
