Role Overview The Senior Associate role will be responsible for the delivery of Quality Assurance (QA) activities. The identification, design, implementation and roll-out of improvements to the regulatory reporting environment to improve accuracy, timeliness and completeness The ongoing monitoring of regulatory change alongside compliance and technology contacts in order to maintain high quality reporting outputs The delivery of ongoing data quality improvements by working alongside upstream platforms, reporting engines and front office stakeholders The effective and efficient management of Regulatory Reporting investigations to ensure that our regulatory obligations are documented, complete and accurate. Role Responsibilities Ensuring that existing regulatory reporting is analysed and assessed for accuracy, completeness and timeliness Ensuring that data quality issues are recorded and escalated, with remediation programmes agreed and prioritised with colleagues across front office, compliance, technology and operations Ensuring that data quality validation rules are implemented at both a pre and post reporting level Partnering with compliance and regulatory technology colleagues in understanding changes within the regulatory environment Designing and delivering mechanisms in testing regulatory reporting, QA, UAT, the delivery of change and remediation of issues identified Ensuring that we undertake any reconciliations necessary to evidence stringent oversight and control of regulatory reporting processes and data Partner with regional and global functional leads on the design, development and delivery of operations tooling as a means of ensuring operational regulatory controls are in place Analysis of business workflows, controls testing of trade source system flows and testing of Regulatory platform trade processing Logic. To take ownership of and provide SME support for relevant projects Highlight and track all technology development requests for process and data accuracy enhancements Work to support wider Regulatory reporting team to meet all regulator, audit and client delivery deadlines Design, preparation, analysis and distribution of Operational MI to key stakeholders Experience / Competences Essential Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience Significant experience of working in fast paced or pressured environments Highly killed in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Significant experience of financial markets Significant experience in a similar organisation Significant experience in training / mentoring junior colleagues Significant experience in overseeing colleagues work Strong understanding of risk and controls Demonstrated experience of identifying, prioritising and implementing change Demonstrated experience in succession planning, resource prioritisation & staffing management Significant experience in regulatory reporting Desired Significant knowledge of the TPICAP brand, functions & structure Significant experience of TPICAP in-house systems LI-MID NIJobs Not The Perfect Fit?
