Key Responsibilities: Sales Development: Drive the growth of product sales across the UK & Ireland, developing new prospects, increasing market coverage, and maximizing sales from existing customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Team and Technical Sales Specialist to ensure a unified and effective approach for market coverage.
Lead Generation: Proactively generate new leads and follow-up on prospects, utilising phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a regional sales plan, prioritising key accounts, national accounts, and smaller transactional customers.
Customer Engagement: Provide product information, cross-sell, and offer technical advice, while supporting customers through the installation and troubleshooting processes.
Market Feedback: Provide insights into market trends, competitors, and customer needs to help shape marketing strategies and new product offerings.
Skills & Experience: Sales Experience: Proven ability in B2B technical sales with a strong commercial understanding.
A technical background or aptitude is preferred.
Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within the UK & Ireland (including frequent stays away from home).
Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and influence decision-makers.
Organised & Proactive: A self-motivated, driven individual who can manage time effectively, plan strategically, and meet targets.
Experience: Previous experience in a technical sales environment, particularly in industries such as manufacturing, engineering, or technology, is a plus.
