The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for both the financial and operational performance of their restaurant on a day to day basis.
An Assistant Store Manager's main role is to ensure the efficient running of the restaurant alongside the Store Manager whilst making sure their guests receive the highest levels of customer service and product quality. Assistant Store Managers are involved in all aspects of food preparation, sandwich making and restaurant cleanliness.
Assistant Store Managers thrive in fast-paced environments where being able to use their initiative and manage a small but well-trained team is key.
As an Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for a number of tasks including;
1. Ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times, by both yourself and your team
2. Training & Performance Reviews
3. Implementing Marketing Strategies
4. Food & Beverage Ordering
5. Weekly Stocktaking
6. Analysing Weekly Reports to Maximise Restaurant Profitability
7. Scheduling & Labour Control
8. Banking & Daily Cash Controls
9. Maximising sales
10. Control in-store costs
11. Ensure cleanliness within the store is at its very best
12. Working to strict Food and Health & Safety regulations
We are looking for someone who has strong organisational and team-building skills with the confidence and motivation to train new team members and lead them in running the store at a high standard. Strong communication skills and a positive outlook are key.
Previous experience in the Catering & Retail Industry at a minimum of supervisory level is essential.
