Award-winning toy company YuMe Toys (www.yumetoys.com) has an immediate requirement for a brand-centric and digital media-savvy Marketing Coordinator to join our London team. This opportunity offers tremendous potential for advancement, ideal for a B2C marketer with B2B experience.
The Marketing Coordinator will support the sales and marketing team with the design, implementation, and evaluation of the performance of marketing & communication strategies for toys and collectibles. The Marketing Coordinator will be closely involved in marketing strategy, media planning, trade marketing, PR, consumer promotions, new product positioning, influencer marketing, and social media development.
The Marketing Coordinator will work independently and in a team environment with sales and creative teams, both local and international, as well as with outside agencies. Must have a strong passion for toys, consumer products, and entertainment properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the strategic development and cultivation of social media content to increase the Company’s internet presence.
* Identify opportunities to increase brand exposure and visibility.
* Design marketing collateral, plan events, draft proposals, prepare presentations, and examine consumer trends.
* Ensure brand consistency in creative marketing strategies and social media content.
* Research the latest licensed consumer products, trends, and insights across platforms (in-store, social media, blog, print/digital materials).
* Assist in managing YuMe TikTok & Instagram Marketing campaigns.
* Assist in various stages of marketing & partnership campaigns and promotional activities.
* Research competitors’ products and continuously compile information about competitive new launches, advertising, and formulas.
* Brainstorm with the sales and creative teams to develop product-based sales promotions, and compose recaps of such meetings.
* Offer general support across projects and interdepartmental objectives as required.
Requirements:
* Graduate in marketing, advertising, communications or related disciplines.
* 2+ years of marketing, sales or research experience, preferably in the licensing (brand or entertainment), toy industry, or other relevant consumer products industry.
* Interest in digital marketing, entertainment licensing, and consumer products, particularly toys.
* Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing presentation skills.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented and work well in a team setting.
* Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* A self-starter with high energy and a strong work ethic.
* Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
