Chemotherapy Nurse Role
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care as a Chemotherapy Nurse, serving as the face of Sciensus and enhancing job satisfaction by providing holistic one-to-one care within patients' own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as defined in the patient's care plan while maintaining professional standards.
* Act as an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care, offering tailored nursing that meets patients' needs.
* Document all clinical data and report adverse drug events via the correct protocol.
* Build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to support treatment and recovery.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge and demonstrate it, addressing any gaps in clinical competency while staying compliant with business policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Registered General Nurse qualification.
* Experience in administering Cytotoxic drugs and cannulating patients.
* Ability to undertake clinical assessments.
