We are looking for Senior Finance Manager who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".
Reporting to our Director of Finance Operations, this role is supporting BUUK's energy transformation business units, Passiv and Levelise. Due to the nature of the role, you will be based in either Newbury or Oxford with periodic travel to our head office in Woolpit, Suffolk.
As the Senior Finance Manager your key responsibilities are
* Oversee monthly management and cashflow reporting, including trend analysis and commentary to assist senior management's decision making
* Support management accounts review and reporting, ensuring commentary is provided for performance variances vs expectations including monthly forecasts
* Be the lead contact with the external auditors, organising the annual audit of the financial accounts, ensuring additional audits are carried out as required
* Oversee the sales and purchase ledger, ensuring suppliers are paid in line with terms and debt is recovered from customers
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting for the business units, as well as supporting commercial process to facilitate strategic decision making
About you
* Qualified accountant with experience in practice or commercial environment
* Experience working with management teams in financial decision making
* Knowledge of producing statutory financial statements and working with auditors
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
* Ability to discuss complex concepts with both expert and non-expert colleagues
* Highly organised and capable of managing workload to reach deadlines
