Job Description
The engineering department plays a crucial role in Envea's global business, responsible for the design, build, installation, and commissioning of all CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) and fixed gas detection projects worldwide.
This role is primarily based on client sites, requiring working away from the office Monday to Friday unless assistance is needed in the workshop to build the systems installed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Produce electrical control panels, racks, and products according to drawings and provided instructions.
* Install wiring and component support systems, including trunking, DIN rail, containment, and more.
* Integrate instrumentation and control equipment into systems.
* Carry out installation, identification, and termination of mains, LV, control, communication, and I/O wiring.
* Design, layout, and fit out pneumatic systems within the framework.
* Fit out analyzer housings according to drawings and schematics provided.
* Install cable support systems, including tray, basket, conduit, support channels, and more.
* Install panels, racks, and ancillary equipment, such as lighting, power distribution, ventilation, etc.
* Conduct quality control testing and resolve defects.
Profile Requirements:
* Experience in an industrial installation team, production, or manufacturing setting with similar responsibilities.
* Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering.
* Familiarity with engineering drawings and schematics.
* Basic IT literacy.
* Technical knowledge of electrical control systems, panel build, electrical installation, and integration.
* Proven track record of success in similar roles.
* Ability to diagnose faults and resolve issues.
* Demonstrated fluency in English language.
