Our client has an urgent IMMEDIATE need for a Rewards Specialist on a 2 month contract.

As a Rewards Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and management of Boku's compensation and benefits programs. You will ensure that our rewards strategy aligns with the organization’s values and supports the attraction, retention, and engagement of top talent while maintaining market competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the main point of contact for all reward and benefit queries and provide support to all areas of the HR team as well as employees and Third Party Vendors on reward and HR related matters.
• Supporting key annual reward processes including Flexible benefits enrolment, salary and bonus review, budgeting of benefits and benefit supplier/provider renewals.
• Responsible for the administration of the Flexible Benefits package as well as dealing with day to day queries on benefits including for joiners and leavers. Regular liaison with external benefits providers and suppliers to ensure best utilisation and administration of schemes as well as monthly reconciliation, managing invoicing and provider reviews.
• Administering and managing RSU grants and equity plans: Track RSU grants issued, ensuring accurate communication and documentation has been issued and records are maintained. Monitor and manage vesting schedules, including time-based and performance-based milestones with our broker(s). Address employee inquiries related to RSUs, such as vesting timelines, taxation, and benefits. Collaborate with external advisors and internal colleagues to ensure global compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements for equity plans.
• Supporting the administration of Global Pensions as well as the pension governance committee.
• Working with the business and the HR team to analyse and understand the business reporting requirements and working to create and maintain a suite of reports that meets these needs.
• Being responsible for providing regular reports to the HR team and the wider business as well as internal process reviews to ensure accuracy of data in the HR systems.
• Supporting the maintenance and further development of the HR service including trouble shooting and resolving issues as they arise specific to Rewards.
• Playing a pivotal role in developing key training materials for the HR team on how to use the HR system as well as reviewing, developing and documenting standard processes.
• Project work – including policy writing/process notes, drafting documents and undertaking research.
• Assist in the execution of Boku’s total rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee needs.
• Support pay data analysis across business functions, supporting efforts to address gender and ethnicity pay gaps and compliance with EU pay transparency requirements as well as other local global requirements.
• Support benchmarking and market research on pay and benefits to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the administration of annual compensation cycles, including preparation of review templates, communication materials, and training resources.
• Analyse and propose enhancements to total rewards offerings, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve ROI and employee satisfaction.
• Provide operational support for benefits programmes, including vendor management, enrolment processes, and wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with external advisors and vendors to stay updated on emerging trends and support recommendations for rewards improvements.
• Help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation, benefits, and rewards practices.
• Contribute to the creation of employee-facing communications that effectively explain and promote total rewards, including the impact to salaries(e.g. salary exchange), benefits, bonuses, and equity.
• Work closely with Finance and People Operations to ensure seamless integration of rewards programs into broader organizational systems.
• Foster collaboration across departments, promoting best practices and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Key Skills and Competencies
• 3 years of experience in HR, including Compensation and Benefits.
• Some knowledge of market benchmarking tools, pay transparency initiatives, and compensation compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of equity administration: Familiarity with RSU programs, vesting schedules, and related compliance requirements is preferred.
• Strong expertise in data analysis, with the ability to draw meaningful insights and support decision-making via Microsoft Excel.
• Competent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to addressing challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, ensure others feel included.
• Ability to evaluate situations objectively, weighing pros and cons, and making sound, discrete suggestions.
• Strong organizational and technical support skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively across various audiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, HR or related field preferred and/or relevant job experience of at least 3 years
