Focusing on developing strong commercial relationships with key accounts, you will be responsible for managing and driving wine sales across the off-trade sector, in conjunction with our routes to market & direct customer base.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage key relationships within national retail chains, routes to market and on-trade groups to maximise promotions & distribution.
* Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, ensuring smooth communication and effective sales partnerships.
* Collaborate with customers & Account Manager to execute promotional campaigns, distribution drives and seasonal offers.
* Create and implement account-specific sales plans to drive growth and profitability.
* Identify new business opportunities within the off/on-trade sectors, securing listings for wine products across multiple categories.
* Assist with tender process and product presentations.
* Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
* Deliver and exceed national sales targets by volume and revenue.
* Assist with Sales forecasting and manage account budgets, ensuring profitability and performance metrics are met.
* Regularly review and analyze sales performance, adjusting plans where necessary to optimize outcomes.
* Assist National Account Managers with annual negotiation of trading terms, promotional calendars, and pricing structures.
* Assist National Account Managers with product maintenance & admin.
Person Specification
* Experience of sales and/or branded environment with key performance targets.
* Good networking and contacts.
* Commercially astute and entrepreneurial.
* Ability to think strategically and adaptable.
* Strong influencing skills with ability to adapt style to others.
* Numerate, confident with basic financial analysis and analysing sales data.
* Confident using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
* Energised by a fast-paced working environment.
* Collaborative, with a clear and open communication style.
* Methodical and organised approach with ability to plan workload.
* Commitment to our company values and motivated by team achievement.
* Interest in wine and/or FMCG.

Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
* Home-based role with travel to customer site and head office in Newbury.
