Job Description
AI Standards Lab’s main value is to speed up standardisation efforts and to make sure they produce high-quality standards reflecting the latest technical insights, by providing texts that can be directly adopted by standardisation committees. A lot of your work will include tasks around writing these texts.
Your day-to-day work will also include reading existing research and talking to experts, as well as doing some literature reviews.
All of your written output needs to comply with our internal style guide to enable easy adoption by standardisation committees. This involves translating vocabulary from different fields into one unified vocabulary used in standard settings.
Part of your work will be based on specific risk topics and items that we have already identified as a priority. There is also room for exploring further risk items and bringing suggestions.
Additionally, strong candidates may get a placement at the EU standards committee JTC21 to collaborate with other technical experts and to propose and defend our standards contributions in the technical committee discussions.
