Primary Tutor Job Description Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: As a Primary Tutor, your main responsibility will be to provide academic support to primary school students. This includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing students' progress, and providing constructive feedback. You will work closely with students to help them improve their understanding of various subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and other core subjects. Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification Demonstrated experience working with primary school students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: A degree in Education or a related field is required for this role. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher in a primary school setting. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of the primary school curriculum Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials Strong organisational skills Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification in Special Education or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Experience in working with students with diverse learning needs Working Conditions: This is a part-time temporary role, with flexible hours based on student needs. You will primarily work in a school or educational institution setting, providing one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
