Stores Operative/Driver Job description Hours: 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:00 & Friday 8:00 to 13:30. Requirements: A full driving license is required with less than 6 points due to driving company vehicle for deliveries/collections. Forklift license (in house or RTITB or equivalent) Stores Operative/Driver Responsibilities: The Warehouse/Stores Operative is to work with the Team Leader to aid with the undertaking of the daily Warehouse and Stores operations following company procedures and processes. The Warehouse/Stores Operative is to support the Warehouse Team Leader with the final quality check of products prior to dispatch and, the maintenance of a highly proficient Warehouse/Stock environment. Main responsibilities include but not limited to: Picking and packing using pick and B.O.M sheets in line with company procedures for scheduled production. Strapping and wrapping of pallets. Loading and unloading of deliveries/collections ensuring correct paperwork is received/sent. Housekeeping duties keeping in line with Health and Safety procedures. Quality checking of goods delivered to site. Quality checking of finished goods leaving the site. Basic stock control duties including storage of inventory as per company guidelines. Booking of received inventory onto Excel spreadsheet. Communicating errors to relevant parties. Driving the company vehicle for deliveries and collections.
