Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking a HR Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the board, this is a standalone HR Manager role with responsibility for dealing with all operational HR matters and providing HR support.
Responsibilities
Be the first point of call for employees, providing them with training and development information, career opportunities and employee wellbeing
Develop, implement and update HR policies and procedures
Manage the recruitment process including, liaising with departments to develop job descriptions, supporting the interview process and inducting new employees
Foster a positive culture and address employee concerns in a timely manner
Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employee
Ensure compliance with Employment Laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice
Your skills:
HR Professional & CIPD qualified
Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience
Experience of working as a standalone HR professional
Experience of using HR systems
Strong focus on solutions and "can do" attitude / approach
