About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs, who will play a key role in ensuring that cosmetic products comply with EU and UK regulations. This role will be responsible for driving regulatory strategies, supporting product launches, and managing ongoing compliance across EMEA markets. It requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams, to ensure all products meet legal requirements while supporting the company's growth and market expansion. Role & Responsibilities: Lead regulatory strategies for cosmetics product launches and post-market maintenance in EU and UK markets. Drive regulatory solutions and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. Serve as the primary regulatory contact, ensuring clear communication with internal teams, distributors, and external regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance of portfolio with EU/UK cosmetics regulations (e.G., EU cosmetics regulation 1223/2009) and internal standards. Prepare and submit product dossiers, safety assessments, and technical documentation to obtain market approval and work with our appointed responsible person for product notifications Implement and oversee quality control procedures, including audits, risk assessments, and issue resolution. Update and align internal processes with evolving regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy in data management for traceability and compliance Develop and execute strategies for new market entries, collaborating with global teams to align with long-term plans. Lead expansion projects in EMEA markets, building relationships with regulatory experts and partners. Stay updated on regulatory trends and changes, conducting horizon scanning to identify risks and opportunities for new product launches. Collaborate with technical, product development, and marketing teams to ensure product claims, packaging, and marketing materials comply with applicable regulations. Manage communications with regulatory agencies, distributors, and partners to resolve regulatory issues and facilitate product registration. Skills & Experience: Experience managing regulatory projects, including dossier preparation and market entry strategies. Ability to conduct regulatory impact and gap analyses, identify risks, and propose solutions. Strong and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory requirements clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and build strong relationships with partners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing compliance documentation and product quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry, with strong knowledge of EU/UK cosmetics regulations (e.g., EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009).
