You will be responsible for driving growth of privately funded clients in the area. Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
1. Market and promote the business within the territory through a variety of networking and other activities.
2. Identify and grow local networks for referrals and seek opportunities for promotion such as local press and local events.
3. Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
4. Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
5. Report regularly to Area Manager & Managing Director at meetings.
Business Development Manager Requirements:
1. Very positive attitude that enjoys working towards set targets/objectives.
2. Previous experience in a sales/business development role preferable.
3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
4. Previous experience working within the care sector NOT essential.
5. Good overall knowledge of Slough/Berkshire area.
