Where you also play a part in national security engineering? Working within our advanced manufacturing facility you will use your existing planning experience to coordinate and plan manufacturing job structures and delivery schedules on unique products which protect national security. Your excellent communication skills will help facilitate regular liaisons with engineering staff and project managers to ensure projects meet delivery deadlines. Youll manage the end-to-end process, owning the delivery plans across internal and external resources, deconflicting priorities where necessary. Youll enjoy collaborating with others, including with the supply chain team to ensure you can fulfil production and stock holding requirements. With your diverse partner base, no two projects will be the same, one project could involve you delivering a new communication system, the next could be developing a new capability on our existing infrastructure. You will join a team that has a wide variety of project experience, bringing your own views and ideas to collaborate and help deliver our future operating model. Job description Putting your skills to use Using your diverse range of skills within the PCO (Production Control Office) Team, you will: Establish technical plans for projects within our advanced manufacturing facility. Communicate between technical and non-technical staff about a range of ongoing projects. Ensure all technical plans are completed to standard and within set timescales. Liaise with design engineers to provide the latest advice on standards, techniques, and components. Support the development of less experienced team members through mentoring and coaching. Utilise your knowledge of processes and standards to develop and build the capability. Person specification More About You To apply for this role, you will already have: Experience of managing manufacturing build activities in conjunction with project and technical teams. Electromechanical skills and knowledge to assist in the implementation of technical plans for projects. Experience of effective use of MRP/ERP tools use for technical plan creation. To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you also have: High attention to technical detail. Experience of risk and resource management within a manufacturing environment. The ability to develop your knowledge and skills within a manufacturing environment.
