Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Position Overview
Optima are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team in Dudley.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
* Ensure proper operation through preventive maintenance and repairs
* Diagnose and resolve faults, working with electrical systems and mechanical equipment
* Conduct routine checks and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Work with welding, fabrication, and sub-assembly tasks
* Follow health and safety regulations and adhere to all safety standards
* Interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in equipment maintenance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and repair
* Strong background in maintenance engineering and electrical systems
* Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and fabrication systems
* Hands-on experience with welding
* Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
* Familiarity with the 17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
* Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
