SEN Teacher Smart Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialised school in Worcestershire for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in an outdoor learning environment, supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The successful candidate will deliver tailored group sessions in a homely and supportive setting, fostering emotional engagement and academic progress. The position offers:
* Full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, individualised Schemes of Work that align with student targets.
* Incorporate outdoor learning into lesson plans, promoting engagement and hands-on experiences.
* Build trusting relationships with students, providing emotional security and support.
* Monitor and report on student progress using assessment tools and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each learner.
* Lead sessions that embed fundamental British values and enhance students' spiritual, moral, social, and cultural education.
Essential Experience & Skills:
* A minimum of 2 years working with children with ASC.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management and resolution techniques.
* Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
* Experience in outdoor or non-conventional learning environments.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary or Special Education.
* Autism Level 1 & 2 certifications.
* Team Teach and First Aid qualifications are advantageous.
Compliance and Administrative Duties:
* Prepare and communicate Schemes of Work and resources.
* Complete assessments, reports, and documentation in a timely manner.
* Adhere to safeguarding policies and contribute to risk assessments.
