Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
* Help with mobility, including transferring patients from bed to chair or assisting with walking.
* Support with meal preparation and feeding.
* Administer medications as prescribed and monitor medication schedules.
* Assist with light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to service users.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in the patient’s condition or behavior.
* Follow care plans tailored to the specific needs and preferences of service users.
* Promote independence by encouraging service users to carry out tasks on their own when possible.
* Ensure all care practices comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
* Previous experience in domiciliary or home care is preferred but not required.
* Compassionate, caring, and empathetic nature with a passion for helping others.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility in working hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required).
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential.
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required.
* A relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care) is desirable, but not essential.
* Training in manual handling and safeguarding adults will be provided.
