Job summary We are looking for a self driven individual working in an advanced clinical role, leading and developing nursing practice within the specialty. The post holder must demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience in the specialist area of breast disease and fulfil the 4 pillars of an advanced practice role. The postholder will lead and manage a small team of specialist breast care nurses at Chase Farm Hospital. Main duties of the job He or she will co-ordinate clinical services and ensure continued development of nurse led services. The post-holder will oversee the clinical practice of breast nurses within the unit and support the development and training of nurses on the wards and in outpatients. In order to develop and deliver specialist advice and support patients suffering from breast disease, this post will maintain a strong clinical component. The post holder will be a member of the relevant service groups and represent nursing issues Trust wide and at Network level and effectively communicate with these services.
