Ashridge Golf Club is seeking a House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clubhouse.

The clubhouse is a modern two-storey facility, with the upper level featuring a dining room, lounge, and Spike Bar, each offering stunning views of the course. Additionally, a covered balcony wraps around three sides of the building, providing an ideal space to unwind after a round of golf.

About You:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience managing in a 5-star hospitality environment.
* A hands-on operator who excels in customer-facing roles.
* Willingness to work weekends.
* Strong hands-on experience and excellent customer-facing skills, with a warm and friendly personality that aligns with the Clubs reputation for exceptional hospitality.
* Proactive, service-oriented individual to ensure the smooth operation of the Clubhouse and deliver a first-class experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities of House Manager:
* Work closely with the General Manager to maintain high standards of Food and Beverage service, ensuring that all facility standards are upheld.
* Responsible for ordering bar stock, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing stock control.
* Ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
* Oversee cellar management, including line cleaning and stock rotation.
* Maintain all bar and catering equipment in clean and optimal working condition.
* Liaise with the General Manager to implement and oversee a comprehensive maintenance program for repairs, upkeep, and decoration of the Clubhouse and its surrounding areas.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to coordinate Club functions and events.
* Ensure the security of the Clubhouse, including managing daily opening and closing procedures.
* Proactively manage all Clubhouse staff and collaborate with the Head Chef on training and service delivery.
* Oversee financial and budgetary responsibilities related to bar and catering services.
* Regularly liaise with and attend Club Committee meetings.
