Conveyancing Assistant Halifax £25,000 My Client a well established Law Firm are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. Main Duties: - Assisting fee earners in the smooth running of cases by drafting relevant documents throughout the process - Carrying out searches and reporting to the fee earner. - Communicating with estate agents, other solicitors and third parties. - Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates. - Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards mortgages. - Accurate preparation of completions statements, invoices in accordance with accounting procedures. - Assisting in keeping the client updated throughout the process. Skills Required: - Experience within Conveyancing - One years experience in a professional environment. - Working knowledge of solicitors administration practices and experience of setting out documents across the range of subject areas. - Assertive, articulate, flexible and co-operative. - Self-confident in dealing with client enquiries. - Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
