Driver Hire Oxford is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver/Forklift Operative for a temp to perm position for one of our clients based in Witney, ( OX29) Oxfordshire.
Job Profile:
Title: HGV Class 2 Driver/Forklift Operative – Immediate Start
Hours: Monday to Friday- 0700-1700
Pay Rate: £16.00 PAYE Adv
Full time Salary : £35k per year
Type: Full-time; Permanent
Must have:
HGV Class 2 driving licence
Must have either a Moffett or Counterbalance forklift licence
Digital Tacho Card
Driver CPC Card
No more than 3 points on your licence
Duties include:
You will be responsible for the transport and delivery of goods to customers in a safe and timely manner
Driving professionally with competent knowledge of Road traffic Law is a must
Maintain good care of your vehicle, ensuring you perform daily safety check
Supervise the loading of the vehicle to ensure it is loaded within the weight limits
Ensure paperwork is completed
Check the vehicles are loaded in an organized and efficient methodology in line with deliveries
You will also be required to carry out warehouse duties, including operating a forklift for loading and unloading vehicles
Stock taking as and when required
