Job Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Human Capital Management Project Lead, to design and deliver a modern, intuitive HR solution that improves service, drives process efficiency, and enhances the experience for HR teams and employees across William Grant & Sons.
Please note that this is an 18 month fixed term opportunity.
Main Responsibility
In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and implementing a cutting-edge Human Capital Management (HCM) system that aligns with our company’s goals. You’ll assess and recommend the best digital solutions and technology to streamline processes, enhance employee experiences, and help foster a high-performing, employee-focused culture.
You’ll be responsible for rolling out a unified solution that manages all HR-related data, functions, and processes, solving any current inefficiencies and boosting productivity at every stage of the employee lifecycle. It’s a hands-on role, where you’ll drive the governance framework, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure that the project stays on track, on time, and within budget. You will be working with an implementation partner and an internal project team to deliver this project.
Collaboration will be key, as you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of innovation and performance. Additionally, you’ll lead the digital transformation of our HR function, ensuring the team is fully equipped and ready for this shift. This means developing automated, data-driven processes and workflows that improve both operational effectiveness and user experience. You will be required to carry out early data gathering, working with local HR teams to ensure the system fulfils the needs of these teams.
As part of this transformation, you’ll create and implement new processes, procedures, and training guides for all system users. You’ll also work with teams across management reporting, data integration, and other functions to design automated reports, dashboards, and KPIs that monitor performance and support key business decisions.
Finally, you’ll play a crucial role in change management, ensuring that stakeholders are fully engaged and that employees embrace a digital-first mindset through clear communication and support.
