Entry requirements
You should already hold or be working towards a minimum of 2 GCSE’s Grade A* - C or Grade 4 and above or equivalent in Maths and English.
You are not eligible for this scheme if you currently hold or are working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject or have already studied content from the qualification for this scheme.
You must be 18 years of age before the start of this scheme to be eligible.

Our Tech & Data teams focus on what’s behind the millions of daily transactions on London’s transport network. As a part of our fast-paced Technology & Data teams you’ll learn the skills required to support the teams that keep London Moving.
What will I be doing?
As an apprentice, your 2-year development programme will be made up of 8 Service Management placement rotations which will include Knowledge Management, Major Incident Management, Tooling and Config, Monitoring Management, Reporting, Change and Release Management, Business Improvement, and Core Support Service.
1. Placement 1 – Service Operations - 12 Months: Knowledge discovery, handling changes to the corporate IT infrastructure, responding to service interruptions, monitoring, and using PowerBI tools.
2. Placement 2 – End User Computing – 3 months: Third Line Citrix Support, Identity Management, Packaging and Build Management.
3. Placement 3 – Transport Services - 3 Months: Support Asset Management Systems, resolving incidents across Asset Management Applications.
4. Placement 4 – Payments Service - 3 Months: Learning about Assurance teams, Bus teams, and the London Cycle Hire system.
Where can this career take me?
Upon successful completion of this scheme, you could roll-off into any of the Service Management areas as a Service Analyst, Application Engineer, or Service Reporting Analyst.
What training and support will you get?
You will be working towards a Level 3 qualification in I.T Solutions Technician. We’ll support your technical and professional development through practical experiences, training courses, mentoring opportunities, and structured networking.
